Services
ATLAS promotes learning and improved outcomes for all students, with a special focus on students with disabilities, by creating accessible, technology-based learning and assessment systems. Their learning map models, assessment design, and teacher resources are informed by the center’s research projects and by innovations in psychometrics that support the measurement of map-based learning. The center fosters partnerships with organizations that share our focus and commitment.
ATS develops high-volume, highly scalable, and multi-device-compatible Software as a Service (SaaS) web applications to meet public needs. The center is a team of experienced IT professionals with many years of high-volume software product development experience who analyze a client’s technology needs and then design, develop, test, host, and provide post-production support for all web applications they develop.
CEEL supports district and building-level leaders to lead, organize, and implement the most effective and equitable learning environments for students. As each school district and community is different, so are the resources educational leaders need to ensure student and educator success.
CIDDL provides research-informed technical assistance, professional learning, and collaboration opportunities to help institutions of higher education (IHEs) strengthen technology use in their programs. The center serves as the National Center to Improve Faculty Capacity to use Educational Technology in Special Education Personnel and Leadership Preparation Programs.
CPPR seeks to optimize the well-being of children, youth, and families. The center includes experts from myriad disciplines working together. Their educators, social workers, scientists, psychologists, sociologists, creatives, and administrative staff come together to create a better world for families.

JAPL seeks to understand elite sports performance and the journey to achieve full potential. JAPL aims to create a sport performance-based research organization that goes beyond just benefiting the department, KU student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs.
Physical fitness and wellness in youth are on a steady decline. Youth have limited access to information to improve the knowledge and skills necessary to combat lower physical fitness and wellness. The mission of Well-Fit is to provide online educational content and in-person programming to improve physical fitness and wellness in youth.
